Apache SSL Website after move Invalid method in request \x16\x03\x01

| Apparently apache caches DNS resolving queries, so if you have a VHOST using SSL and you move it to another apache and try if it works you might get an SSL error, if apache itself resolves the vhost to the old host still. The fix is quite easy, flush the dns cache on the machine apache is running on, see if the vhost already resolves to the new machine and if yes restart apache ... you will see log erros like: \x16\x03\x01 in the general error log, not the vhost specific one, as those will be empty! done |
