some people complain they can't play certain movies - so here's the most used codecs, with which you should be able to watch almost anything.

divx - xvid - ac3

download and install those 3 files and you should be all set.

note: to play dvds/svcds you'll need a dvd player like powerdvd (the link goes to a trial version of the program).
